Still factory sealed. The O3U-3/SU was developed from the O3U series and was a significant improvement over the first Corsair. Seventy-six were produced as -3s and served as observation/float planes for the battle fleet. Sixty-five of the -SU variants were produced and saw a variety of rolls with the Navy and Marines. This was Vought's last production biplane and it was loved by crews. They were taken out of fleet service in 1941 but served in various rolls before being scrapped during mid-WWII. Esoteric was known for making perhaps the finest vacuform kits. Every part needed to complete the kit is included - down to the interior. Very well molded and highly detailed with metal parts - decals - shaped struts and full instructions.
