Rare 1960 hardbox in the Famous Artist Series with 'Mission Accomplished' artwork by Chuck Coppock. The Famous Artist series immediately followed the 'S' kits and included some of the finest artwork to ever grace model kit boxes. This A3D features folding wings and tail, optional position landing gear, speed brakes & escape hatch, three crew figures and refueling probe. Never started. Inventoried complete with all plastic parts and includes decals and instructions.
