1960 issue with "Takeoff!" box art by Bart Doe. The 'Famous Artist Series' all had very colorful and attractive box tops and some of the finest paintings to ever grace model boxes. This was the release immediately after the "S" model issue and is molded in gloss white and clear plastic. The kit includes collectors stamp for this model and the two large-format, full color collectors cards for this kit and for USS Coral Sea. The Master Modelers Club application is also included. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
