Rare issue dated 1966. Of all of the Monogram 1/48 Huey models, the 'Armed Chopper' Blue Box shows up the least. This model is from the original Four Star molds that were modified to make it a gunship. Very nicely detailed and features rotating main and tail rotors, full interior, optional position doors, pilot figure, machine guns, ammo belts and more. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all pieces, decals and instructions. Please note that the decal sheet includes markings for the box artwork helicopter and also for a rescue version (with the red cross on a white square background). To make this version, simply omit putting the guns on in Step 6.
