Still factory 'round tape' sealed. 2008 issue from the original 1955 USS Haven molds. Very nicely molded full hull model features railing detail, full superstructure and all cargo booms, helicopter landing pad with helicopter, davits, lifeboats and more. This is the famous ship of Project Hope, which was financed by private citizens and US Industry. The ex-Navy Hospital ship was equipped with the latest technology and a staff of 6 doctors, nurses and technicians. The Hope and crew toured the world, treating disease and training doctors in the latest developments in medical science.
