1/32 Precedent Vosper Thornycraft K.D. Perkasa Gas Turbine Patrol Boat Fibreglass Hull Issue - 37 Inch Long Radio Controlled Boat Kit - (ex Modav)

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Rare issue that includes a beautiful, fully finished fibreglass (GRP) hull. From the 1970s. Large 1/32 scale kit measures 37 inches long (935mm) with a beam of 9.25 inches (235mm) when assembled. Nicely detailed kit for static display or operation on water. Recommended power is .19 gas engine, but it could be easily converted to electric power. With the exception of the hull, the larger parts of the kit are all die-cut lite plywood with a fine grain. Details are balsa wood and hardwood with metal stock. Paperwork includes highly illustrated instruction book with class history and step by step instructions, parts layout sheet and parts list and fold out plans. NOTE: this kit has minor and neat assembly as follows: two bulkheads and inner keel/supports are built (12 parts total). Quality of assembly is 'excellent.' Two bulkheads and one keel section are glued to the hull. Although well done, some of the glue is coming loose so you will need to re-glue them. There is no other assembly. All six of the small sub assembly bags (such as the gun, cooling stacks, lockers, etc) are still factory sealed All other parts have been inventoried and NOTE: missing one simple rectangle, a motor mount #22. I have included the correct thickness of plywood so you can recreate it. Otherwise includes all other parts and paperwork. Modav, or Model Avionics, made this kit and others in the early 1970s. Later they became known as Precedent.
