Still factory sealed. 1979 issue is from the original Matchbox molds. Includes markings and parts for Wellington X, RCAF Dalton 'Ghost Squadron', Mk. XIV 179th Squadron RAF Coastal Command Gibraltar and MkX Polish Squadron RAF Hemswell. The 428 Squadron aircraft is the markings for Wellington HE239 in which Sgt. L.F. Williamson was awarded the CGM for courage and flying skill. On a night mission over Duisburg on April 8th, 1943, an explosion ripped the rear of Williamson's ship, blowing off the rear gun turret, fuselage fabric and vital parts of the control surfaces. He managed to bring the crippled ship home safely.
