1963 issue in remarkable, investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. The box has factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no tears, stains or creases and no tape or price tags. The only flaw is very light wear. This issue was the first (and final) box art change from the original 1956 issue; John Steel artwork replaced that of Jim Cox. Large 1/48 scale model is from ex-Helicopters for Industry molds, which Aurora purchased in about 1955/56. Features cockpit with floor, bulkhead, seats, control sticks and instrument panel, optional position doors and decals for all four versions. Molded in silver and clear plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
