Very high quality model and the only 1/350 scale Porter Destroyer Leader model ever made. BWN said they made the finest ship models available and it was no idle boast. The master was researched in depth and built to museum standards. In making the molds, the silicone was de-aired in a vacuum chamber; then the resin was pressure cast. This method makes for virtually air-bubble-free parts with flawless detail. Scale fidelity and historical accuracy are top-rate throughout. Features museum-quality resin castings, metal details and a large fret of photoetched brass parts. Can be built waterline or full hull. Includes very good pictorial and text instructions. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions.
