Aurora 1/156 12 O'Clock High B-17 Bomber Formation, 352-259 plastic model kit

1/156 352-259 Aurora 12 O'Clock High B-17 Bomber Formation

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair++

Rare Aurora Canada issue Dated 1964. Issued with the popular TV program '12 O'Clock High.' Features three B-17 kits with special ground base showing airfields, railroad yards and factories, special 'bombs away' clear stand arms for each aircraft, one special 'battle damage' decal sheet for the B-17s, another unique decal sheet for the three B-17s 'Aces High,' 'Fancy Diver' and 'King Pin' and the 'bomb' stands. The three B-17s are molded in the correct dark green and clear, while the 'bomb' stand arms are clear and the base is black. The kit has never been started. All three B-17s are still in the factory sealed bags. The clear parts have been inventoried complete with the special clear stand arms and stand base (these parts were never factory sealed. NOTE: The box art poster is a very high quality reproduction. It looks so good that I thought it was original, but it is not. "Damage" decal sheet is missing 5 (of 46) 'bullet hole' small decals missing. The box has great color and gloss but is graded 'Fair++' because the box sides have a closed tear and four split corners. They have been neatly and correctly repaired from the inside with cardstock and book binding glue. There is also significant general wear and creases as shown. Must be shipped insured.
