This is a very high quality model and widely considered the finest 1/48 scale 'Beast' ever made. It is not a reissue of the original 1960s Monogram 1/48 Helldiver, but from completely modern molds. Features fine and all recessed panel line detail, super-detailed interior, extensive photoetched parts including ignition harness and dive brakes, complete bomb bay, optional position bomb bay doors, optional bomb load, detailed wheel wells, weighted tires, optional position canopy and decals for VB-85 USS Shangri-La or VB-3 USS Yorktown. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
