1/25 AMT 1955 Ford Thunderbird Friction Drive Promo

Original dealer promotional model for the first Thunderbird in 1955. AMT pulled out all the stops and this is a deluxe model featuring beautiful glossy red plastic, metal front bumper and grill and rear bumper, clear front headlight lenses and red tail light lenses. The friction motor is intact and works perfectly. This is a one-owner promo and he obtained it brand new. It was never played with and always displayed in a glass case. There is very little body warp which is rare. Clear windshield is very good and could use some light cleaning. The one owner painted the silver trim to 'professional' quality. It looks better than most factory painted trim on other promos.
