1/542 H339-298 Revell USS Forrestal CV59 Aircraft Carrier - 'S' Issue

First issue dated 1956 in the "S" hardbox. Still considered the classic 'as launched' model of the first Super Carrier. Molded in the correct gloss gray and blue. Features full, one piece hull, props, shafts and rudder detail, moving elevators and crane, detailed 5" AA gun turrets with directors, full island with sensors, deck crash crane, tow tractors and an airwing consisting of A3D Skywarriors, HUP-3 Helicopters, F7U-3 Cutlass, FJ-3 Fury and F2H-4 Banshee aircraft. There is no assembly or painting but NOTE: one part (#6 fantail bulkhead) has neat glue on the back and sides of it, but was never put on. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, flag sheet and instructions. The instructions are in 'very good++' condition.
