O-Lin 1/48 Beechcraft V35 Bonanza - (Later Lindberg), 504 plastic model kit

1/48 504 O-Lin Beechcraft V35 Bonanza - (Later Lindberg)

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Very rare and part of early United States Modeling History. O-Lin was founded in the 1930s by Paul Lindberg and a partner whose last name was Olsen. O-Lin initially specialized in flying wooden models. The first plastic kits appeared after WWII in the late 1940s and in the early 1950s the name was changed to Lindberg. This is still the only 1/48 scale model of the earliest Bonanza. Molded in gloss silver plastic and includes the correct teardrop shaped stand. The decals are in 'excellent' condition and include red stripes and registration. Instructions are also in 'excellent' condition. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Interestingly enough, there is a white and red flyer advertising that you can send in for a Lindberg Catalog! The address given at this point is 8050 N. Monticello Ave, Skokie, Illinois. The catalog is "Sixteen pages in beautiful colors of all models."
