Revell 1/64 North American B-25 Mitchell True 1st Issue With One-Piece Stand Arm - Pre 'S' Issue, H216-98 plastic model kit

1/64 H216-98 Revell North American B-25 Mitchell True 1st Issue With One-Piece Stand Arm - Pre 'S' Issue

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: NM

Dated 1954. Very rare true 1st issue in magnificent investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition inside and out. I used to wonder if this variation existed, and here it is. The kit has the original 3-prong single piece stand arm and the correct instructions that go with it. The box artwork is by Richard Kishady and is in amazing 'Near Mint' condition. The color and gloss are factory new, all four corners are solid, there are no repairs, no fading, tears or missing litho, no tags or tag marks and no tape or tape marks (other than light marks from the original factory sealing tape of course). The only flaws are a few very light age marks (which are very difficult to see) and occasional very light general wear. Features rotating turrets and propellers, pilot, copilot and bomber figures and famous "The Flying Dragon" decals. Inside, the kit is factory new andcorrectly molded in gloss olive drab and clear, with the famous globe base. It has never been started. All of the small parts are still factory sealed in the 'krinkle' bag. The parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. The decals are flat and 'near mint' with slight yellowing as the only flaw. The instructions are hardly yellowed at all and grade 'excellent' due to a small (like a pencil point) closed hole at the very bottom. The second issue of this kit is identical on the outside, but inside Revell went to the stronger two piece stand arm and changed the instructions to reflect that.
