Original issue hardbox dated 1966. This super-secret interceptor that developed into SR-71 also pioneered the AWG-9/Phoenix missile system for the legendary F-14 Tomcat. The model features removable nose and radar detail, two position landing gear and ventral fin, two Hughes AIM-47A nuclear missiles, optional position weapons bay doors and crew busts. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present.
