Pyro 1/88 Joseph Conrad Cadet School Ship, B215-400 plastic model kit

1/88 B215-400 Pyro Joseph Conrad Cadet School Ship

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc+

The Joseph Conrad was built in 1882 in Denmark as the Georg Stage. Alan Villiers bought the ship in 1934 and saved it from the breakers. He renamed it Joseph Conrad for the famous maritime author. The ship made a famous round-the-world voyage from which Villiers wrote three books about the travels. The ship is now a museum ship at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut and is still used for static sailing ship training. The kit is well detailed and measures about 16 inches long when built. Includes billowing sails and rigging guide photos. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.
