1/48 527M-198 Lindberg Grumman TBF Avenger with Movable Control Surfaces from the Cockpit and Motorized Prop

1950s issue of this very rare and unique action kit. Open the clear canopy and move the pilot's control stick or rudder pedals, and they actually moves the ailerons, elevator and rudder control surfaces correctly! Also features motorized propeller, landing gear that retracts and extends, opening and closing bomb bay doors, bomb bay with a bomb load, sonobuoys and torpedo, detailed cockpit with all crew stations and three figures, opening crew door and canopy, torpedo cart, tow bar, tow tractor and driver and more. The aircraft has never been started but NOTE: the tow tractor has neat and minor assembly. The engine chassis, body, seat, grill and tow hitch are assembled to 'professional' quality. The tractor seat, radiator fan and driver are neatly painted. There is no other assembly. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one tiny torpedo propeller part. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals, motor and instructions present. Please note that the box has very good color and gloss, but has heavy creasing at the left and a closed split at the top long side, as well as general wear and creases on the upper long side.
