1/87 Balboa Class A 20 Ton Shay Brass Locomotive Katsumi HO Scale

Beautiful brass locomotive, hand-built in Japan by Katsumi for Balboa Scale Models of San Diego, California. This one-owner model has always been carefully stored in the original box. The original clear plastic protective sheet and all three factory gray foam 'cradle' sections are present and in 'excellent' condition. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag. Under 14x magnification, the drive wheels show the tiniest bit of wear, so it has probably been lightly run 2 or 3 times. I see no modifications to the engine or tender and I believe them to be complete with no missing or broken parts; but please examine the photos for yourself! Ask me if you need something checked more closely. I have no narrow gauge track, so I am unable to test the locomotive, so it is sold "As Is." There Balboa instruction sheet is present.
