UPC 1/40 M-42 Duster Flak Wagon, 2159-250 plastic model kit

1/40 2159-250 UPC M-42 Duster Flak Wagon

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Rare. Older but nicely detailed model featuring working bogies and tracks, elevating and rotating gun, good turret detail, extra barrels and other accessories and more. Molded in olive drab with metal axles and flexible black tracks. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art (including this kit) in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s. While the original molds of many UPC kits have been identified, the mold origins of this model are unknown.
