1/25 102-198 Renwal 1966 Stutz Modern Classic Revival
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG++
The idea behind Renwal's Revival Series came from the Detroit design team of Virgil M. Exner Sr. (the famous Chrysler designer) and his son, Virgil Jr. The famous design team, somewhat displeased with modern automobiles, started thinking about what the old time classics would look like today - if made by Packard, Mercer, Duesenberg and Stutz. Virgil Sr. and Jr. thus designed four modern classics and they were published in a national magazine - Renwal then began kit production of these four. The kit features a complete engine, some engine compartment detail, removable hood and a complete interior. It is very cleverly molded in gloss deep red, gloss black, chrome, clear & red-tinted clear to minimize painting and includes rubber whitewall tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.
