2004 reissue from the original molds of one of Revell's best selling kits of all time. This issue includes the copy of the plaque placed on her deck after the surrender in February of 1945. Twenty inches long when built and features a one piece hull, two Navy seaplanes on movable catapults, movable aircraft crane, rotating main turrets and elevating 16 inch guns, full secondary 5 inch guns and turrets, 40mm AA guns and more. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals, flag sheet and instructions.
