1/1 G208-150 Pyro US Civil War Navy 36 Pistol
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
Hardbox issue from about 1966. In addition to cars, ships, planes and figures, Pyro added an excellent line of well-known and not-so-well-known life-sized (1/1) scale pistol and rifle models to their line. In each case Pyro gained access to the actual weapon during the kit design, insuring a very accurate model. This is a full size model features minute gunsmith detailing, movable trigger, hammer and ramrod and is molded in a bluish/gunmetal colored plastic. The kit has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. NOTE: there is minor and neat assembly. Two parts (cylinder shaft halves) have been assembled to 'professional' quality. There is no other assembly. The Civil War Navy 36 was second only in popularity to the Western 44 1860 Army model. The 36 was known for its sturdy construction and reliability. It was a cap and ball type revolver and proved very popular among the early Western settlers and cowboys.
