Very rare 1973 Revell of Japan hardbox issue with unique box art. Like most Japan issues, this one has special features not seen with any other. First, it includes a beautiful print of a large (box-size) full color painting of "Little Chief" by the well-known Japanese artist A. Hashimoto. Secondly, it includes additional decals. Along with the box art aircraft, there are markings and a paint guide for the nose art aircraft 'Brutal Lulu.' Features detailed R-2800 engine with removable panels, fully detailed cockpit, pilot figure and moving prop and wheels. Molded in the correct dark gray and clear; even the Revell Japan parts bag is present (but open.) The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
