Rare original 1960s issue in exceptional condition. Not the modern reissue. The 1953 Studebaker Commander Starliner had amazing style for that time and was decades ahead of its time. Kit includes all parts needed to build either the stock, custom or racing versions. Features opening hood, detailed engines (stock or 'Double Trouble' Chrysler Racing Engine), steerable front wheels, detailed chassis and interior and a a great many customizing options. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber narrow-whitewall tires and metal rear axle. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
