Revell 1/426 USS Pennsylvania BB-38 Battleship - Sea Power Issue, H422-198 plastic model kit

1/426 H422-198 Revell USS Pennsylvania BB-38 Battleship - Sea Power Issue

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

1961 hardbox first issue. Rare kit of the Arizona's sister ship. Full-hull model that is very nicely molded and detailed for that time. It can be superbly super-detailed with the Gold Medal Model PE detail set. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts present including decals, flag sheet and instructions. The Pennsylvania was in dry-dock during the December 7th Pearl Harbor attack and survived with minimal damage. She was rebuilt and saw significant action in the Pacific in WWII, steaming over 150,000 miles from 1941 to 1945. It is thought that she may have fired more ammunition than any ship in history. She never once reported 'Not Ready' for any operation or need. After being used as a nuclear test ship at Bikini, she was towed to Kwajalein and sunk.
