G-11 Cadet Stratobomber Balsa Glider

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

Rare kit from the 1940s in fine, never used condition. This is an easy to assemble glider featuring factory painted and decorated parts. The solid fuselage is red and has the profile outline of an advanced pre WWII bomber. The wing is die cut and decorated with four printed engine nacelles and "STRATOBOMBER" across the top. The horizontal and vertical stabs are die cut and even the original nose weight is included. The instructions are on the back of the box. It has never been built and is complete. Cadet Aeronautics was a division of Winner Engineering Corporation, Trenton NJ. This line consisted of a P-40, P-51, Spitfire, Hellcat, P-47, Airacobra, Culver Model V, Aeronca Champion and Stinson Voyager 150 (numbered B-1 through B-9 respectively). Cadet also had a very popular line of ready-to-fly gliders such as the 'Stratobomber' and many others.
