Wood and Metal Model Kit, Box Condition: Good-
Very rare and dated 1946. Solid wood, true scale model that was well detailed for that time and highly prefabricated. Features factory cut fuselage and wings cut in X,Y and Z planes - not just profile. For example, the wings have the proper taper from the root to the tip and the fuselage is tapered fore to aft. The stabs are profile cut as are the four nacelles. Also includes four plastic props, 5 finished main and nose wheels, metal nose gear struts, dowel main gear blocks as required, printwood, a stiff cardstock sheet with templates for all surfaces, sandpaper and very extensive full color decals. The big, full size plans include detailed building steps and drawings as well a the three view and there is even a special United four-page fold out advertising the new aircraft. On pages two and three it has a great cut away of the aircraft and 5 photos of the interior areas; on the back is a large photo of the cabin. The kit has never been started and is complete. Please note, the fluids and glue are not present which this website lists as the standard condition.
