1/450 Unknown USSR First Nuclear Submarine Severyanka (S-148 Project 613) - 8.5 inches Long

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Rare, full hull Russian submarine kit. Actually very nicely molded with just over 20 parts and includes a display stand. The instructions are illustrated, which is fortunate because they are in Russian. Never started and complete with all parts and paperwork. This is a kit of 'Project 613,' the first Soviet Nuclear Submarine. She was built by SSZ Krasnoe Sormove in Gorkiy. Built in 1953 for the Soviet Navy, she was first named S-148. In 1957-1958 she was convereted to a research vessel and named Severyanka. In 1967 the sub was transferred back to the Soviet Navy. She was 76 meters long, displaced 50.5 tons and had a crew of 40 with 5 to 9 scientist. Thank you Ales Pakosta for the information!
