Hardbox issue dated 1966 and most likely the first issue. This is the super-secret aircraft that developed into SR-71 and pioneered the AWG-9/Phoenix missile system for the legendary F-14 Tomcat. Kit features removable nose and radar detail, two position landing gear and ventral fin, two Hughes AIM-47A nuclear missiles, optional position weapons bay doors and crew busts. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.
