ATMA 1/50 Fokker S-11 Instructor Trainer FAB, 3213 plastic model kit

1/50 3213 ATMA Fokker S-11 Instructor Trainer FAB

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Rare and from 1964. ATMA' full address is given as ATMA Paulista S.A., Ind. E Com, Rua Do Cortume 196, Sano Paulo, Brazil. Their logo is a rectangle containing a lower case "ap" with 'Modelo em escala' written below it. This kit is a large scale trainer with raised panel detail and molded in gloss silver (fuselage), black (details) and bright orange (wings) and clear. There is a sliver display stand with 'ATMA' engraved on the underside and even an unopened tube of ATMA glue! Decals are the colorful FAB markings (Brazilian Air Force). The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. There is even a small fold-out ATMA catalog showing HAWK kits in ATMA logo boxes, such as the Viscount in VASP colors (3217), the big sci-fi Atlas Rocket (3219) and Comet 4 in BOAC colors (3218). There is also a Boeing 707 (3215) which may be Comet, a Ford Model T (3033) (origins unknown) and three modern cars (3038, 3039, 3035 - possibly Heller?). This Fokker kit was ATMA's only original mold, the rest were borrowed. The previous list of ATMA kits only included this S-11, Fokker D-VII (3209) & DR-1 ((both ex-Merit copies of Aurora), the Hawk Viscount & Comet, the 707 and a Varig/FAB DC-3 (ex-Monogram). This simple catalog adds 5 more kits to that list. ATMA also sold a branded model paint set and glue.
