Lindberg 1/96 Caravelle French Jet Airliner - With Full Interior and Engines and Transparent Fuselage and Cowling - Cellovision Issue, 553-149 plastic model kit

1/96 553-149 Lindberg Caravelle French Jet Airliner - With Full Interior and Engines and Transparent Fuselage and Cowling - Cellovision Issue

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Poor

From the 1950s. First issue of this rare kit with beautiful Ray Gaedke box art of an Air France Caravelle departing over downtown Paris. The model is loaded with unique features. It can be built as a large scale non-visible or visible model with full interior. Features one clear fuselage 1/2 and one clear engine cowl, complete passenger compartment and cockpit, mens/womens bathrooms, passengers, pilots and hostess, retracting landing gear, movable wing flaps, moving control surfaces, jet engine, boarding ramp and display stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Includes Air France decals. Please NOTE: the box looks much better than the grade, but is graded as 'poor' because it has been cut on the back along one long and one short side, as well as having other general wear and shorter closed tears. The later hardbox issue included United Air Lines, since United once bought the Caravelle for North American routes.
