SALE!! Includes two kits in the one box shown. Kit #1 is never started and still in the factory sealed bags; includes decals and instructions. Kit #2 is never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Still the only injection molded 1/72 scale kit of this subject. The elegant Liore 46 high-wing monoplane fighter was developed designed in the early 1930s from the Liore 43 and 45 prototypes. The Liore 46 made it's maiden flight on September 1, 1934. The prototype was armed was two 20mm cannon, which was later changed to f 7.50mm MAC machine guns. The power plant was the 14 cylinder air-cooled Gnome-Rhone engine with 930 horsepower. Total production was 70 machine with all of them made by SNCAO. Loire 46 fighters served as the first line of airborne defense until December 1938 when they were replaced by the MS.406. The Liore was still used in a training roll and some were sold to the Spanish Republican Air Force. This is a highly detailed injection molded model that features photoetched brass and resin engine, very good cockpit with film instruments and more. Includes paint guide and decals for both aircraft listed.
