Very, very rare, superb model and the only kit of this subject in any scale. The kit consists of very finely cast parts in high definition resin with recessed panel lines, many PE parts and film instruments. The fuselage is cast in one part with the opening for the fuselage where the wing goes. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. He-112 Prototype V6 had a fascinating history during the Spanish Civil War. It was specially modified with a 20mm cannon firing through the screw axis. It was initially flown by 'private' Luftwaffe pilots and saw significant action. However, Wilhelm Balthasar destroyed an armored train with the V6 on March 16, 1937. The fact that made this amazing is the Balthasar was an observer in an He-45C. When he knew of the attack, he convinced the commander that he was an expert pilot and begged to take the V6 up to attack the train. On his way back he destroyed a tank and won an award for his efforts. He was later appointed commander of an experimental department consisting of three He-45C and the one He-112V6. The task of this unit was recon, artillery spotting and ground attack. During these flights the V6 destroyed more tanks and was very successful.
