Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

Dated 1979. Large scale submarine measures over 20 inches long when assembled. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing 3 figures. It has been inventoried with all parts and instructions present. NOTE: the instructions are photocopies of the visible U-47 model and only include the steps required for this kit. U-99 was one of the most active and successful early boats under the command of Otto Kretschmer. She survived 7 active patrols but was sunk on the 8th patrol on March 17, 1941. 40 of the crew survived the sinking, including Kretschmer, who accounted for the greatest tonnage of shipping sunk by any commander in WWII.
