1/24 F18 William H Low Co 1880s Chemical Engine - Wilo Line Fire Trucks

Very rare. Likely from the 1940s. William H Low Co., of Braintree Mass., issued the 'Wilo Line' which included a superb series of antique commercial firefighting equipment. The scale is given as 1/2" and the finished wagon is approximately 6.5 inches long (about 12" with the front carriage bar). The kits were very advanced for the time and shared many of the pre-fabrication methods of Hudson Miniatures. Features 'all parts in this kit cut to size and shape.' Includes plastic injection molded spoke wheels, precut and machined large and small wooden parts, beautiful completed chemical tanks, a sealed bag of smaller parts including a great many more fully carved wood parts, brass chain and other metal parts, complete instructions, a photo of the actual restored truck and full size plans with numerous drawings and detailed text instructions. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed small-parts bag with the non-sealed parts inventoried complete including instructions/plans. The kits in this line include Amoskeag Steamer, Hose Reel, Hose Wagon, Chemical Engine and perhaps others. In most cases they are the only kit in existence of these historic vehicles.
