From the 1950s. First issue of this rare kit. The box is complete with all end flaps and 'very good' which is rare. Beautiful Ray Gaedke box art of an Air France Caravelle departing over downtown Paris. This kit is loaded with unique features. Model can be built as a large scale non-visible or visible model with full interior. Features one clear fuselage 1/2 and one clear engine cowl, complete passenger compartment and cockpit, mens/womens bathrooms, passengers, pilots and hostess, retracting landing gear, movable wing flaps, moving control surfaces, jet engine, boarding ramp and display stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Includes Air France decals. The later hardbox issue included United Air Lines, since United once bought the Caravelle for North American routes.
