This is a wood caboose with the cupola near one end (not centered), two windows on each car side, dual end stair platforms and older (leaf) or newer (CN) markings. Excellent kit that builds a detailed duplicate of the prototype. Features hardwood parts that are completely cut and milled to shape, numerous cast metal accessories, detailed instructions and plans and very complete decals. The kit has never been started. The small fittings are still in the factory sealed bag. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. This kit was made by Quality Craft for Custom Trains. Long after manufacturers turned to plastic ready-to-run rolling stock, Quality Craft continued to produce high quality models you could build. Headquartered in Northumerland, PA, they gave the craftsman an opportunity to build a state-of-art kit and show their skill.
