1/50 119-98 Aurora Chance-Vought F8U Crusader (F-8)
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG+
Dated 1957 on the instructions. This is the second issue of this kit; please note the 'Famous Fighters' in the border of the logo, the 98 cent price extension, the 98 cent 'price circle' to the far right near the logo and no Parents' Magazine Seal. The first issue is identical inside but has two airborne aircraft on the box artwork. Kit features retractable landing gear, removable tail section and jet engine. Molded in bright glossy gray and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the box would grade higher than 'very good+' but there is a tape tear on one long side (from the factory tape) and a closed split on the other long side.
