Israel's first M50 Shermans were secretly delivered in the dead of night, on an Israeli beach by a French LST. Arriving just in time for the Suez Campaign, this initial batch was based on the red-engined French M4A4's with a M4 style engined deck. Other early M50s were seen using mid and late production cast hull M4A1s. This is a well detailed kit that features optional parts for different date M50s, flexible and realistic tracks that build up on tread at a time, track-tension adjusting sprocket (a great feature), optional position hatches, separately molded tools, extra bogies & jerry cans and more. Includes full decals and painting guide. Never started. Many parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the parts that are not have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.
