Lindberg 1/48 Junkers JU-87B Stuka Dive Bomber, 524-98 plastic model kit

1/48 524-98 Lindberg Junkers JU-87B Stuka Dive Bomber

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc++

Late 1950s hardbox issue with Ray Gaedke box artwork. The box has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no fading and no price tags or tape/tape marks (beside the factory sealing tape, of course). Very light wear is the only flaw. Molded in correct gloss medium green and clear, with the futuristic Lindberg 'V' shaped clear stand. For the time, this was an excellent kit with fine reviews. Features fine panel and rivet detail, crew of two and seats, separately molded rudder and flap/ailerons, four small wing load bombs and a center bomb with 'swing arm' so that it would clear the prop in a dive. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Thanks to Dusty Rhodes for this information: The markings with this model, A5+HL, are from a -B2 (Trop.) captured intact in North Africa, 1941 and shipped to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. It is still there today (2020). This may very well be the aircraft that Lindberg Skokie-based designers examined as a basis for this model.
