E24 Comet Phantom Fury - 32 Inch Wingspan Flying Airplane - Plans by Robert Reder co-founder of Monogram

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair

Stick-and-tissue kit from the 1930s. When Bob Reder was young, he was hooked on flying models. Upon graduation in 1935, he went to work for Comet. He drew this version of the Phantom Fury plans and put his name at the bottom. This is a very nice kit for that time, featuring a large balsa printwood sheet, a pre-carved prop that only needs finish sanding, nose block, factory cut strip wood in all required sizes, other balsa stock as required for gear struts, etc., fully carved wooden wheels, red and orange covering tissue, clear window material, metal prop shaft and full size plans. The kit has never been started and is 100% complete. NOTE: The box looks great but is graded 'fair' because it is missing all of the end flaps.
