1960s issue of the first Australian fighter aircraft. The Boomerang was developed from the Wirraway as a stop-gap defender. The prototype flew on May 29, 1942. 250 were built and the aircraft was used extensively in New Guinea for ground support. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
