High quality resin kit of a rare subject. Features almost flawless moldings, a very high level of detail (even includes the float plane), exploded parts diagram, scale drawings of the completed kit and color flags. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes flags and instructions. The Java in service in the Netherlands Indies and sunk in 1942 at the Battle of the Java Sea. Japanese use of the 'Long Lance' torpedoes were responsible for sinking her and the newer De Ruyter.
