H-4 Continental Model Airplane Co Coast Guard Cutter Campbell

From the mid to late 1940s. All-wood, 9 inch long model kit of the famous USCG Cutter Campbell, which was the first Coast Guard vessel to serve under Naval direction on North Atlantic patrol starting October 1, 1940. She sank U-boat by ramming and took part in many rescues. This is a very nice effort by Continental. The ship is 9 inches long when assembled. The hull had been very neatly factory machine cut to the overhead (beam) dimensions. Also includes two sheets of printwood, other wood parts, s full color insignia sheet with the ships name and many US flats and excellent full size plans with instructions. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and paperwork. Continental had several ship lines; this 'H' line consists of H1 USS Missouri Battleship, H2 Aircraft Carrier USS Wasp, H3 LST (Landing Ship Tank), H4 Coast Guard Cutter Campbell, H5 USS Fletcher Destroyer and H6 Clipper Ship The Seawitch.
