1/144 6012-39 Paramount F-101A Voodoo - US Air Force

Nicely molded smaller scale aircraft kit with very fine raised panel lines, full landing gear, centerline drop tank, clear canopy and colorful decals. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. Paramount was based in Canada and sold kits from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s when they shut down. Most if not all of the kits were from older Otaki, Sanwa, Nichimo or Marusan molds although some remain unidentified. Many kits are labeled 'Made in Japan - Packaged in USA - Lithoed in Canada'. Kits for sale in Canada has three digit part numbers, and those destined for the USA had four digit numbers. The USA address was Paramount Hobbies Inc, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This kit has the parts 'Made In Japan for Paramount by Ohtaki Model Toy Mfg. Co. Ltd', which I assume is Otaki.
