1/72 259 Airfix Fairey Battle RAF or Belgian Air Force

1960s issue with third Airfix logo. Nicely molded and well detailed kit with full cockpit, moving ailerons, optional bomb load and crew. Has decals from one of the most memorable Battle actions at the Maastricth bridges in May 1940 when five Battles of No. 12 Squadron, all flown by volunteers, were all shot down. Also includes decals for Belgian Air Force. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: covers to lower wings; horizontal stabilizer halves; cockpit; custom stringers on cockpit side. Inventoried 100% complete with all airplane parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: missing display stand.
