Rare early issue. NOTE: builder or parts kit only; please read carefully. Contains about 1.5 kits. Very well detailed large 1/8 scale model that is motorized. Features working metal coil spring suspension, scale engine (with the electric motor hidden inside), operating headlights, operating clutch, spare wheels and tires, operating steering mechanism, rubber-like tires, hinged bubble canopy and more. The molds for this kit were modified and it was reissued as the 'Diamond Duster'. The one original SC-100 sub assembly, the bubble top, is in 'very good' condition. You can add this to your 'Diamond Duster' and have the original SC-100 look. NOTE: this kit has been assembled. EVERY sub assembly has been built. 98% of the kit remains unpainted; only a few small parts were painted. But virtually every part has been glued; many, many parts are falling off as the glue is very old. Includes two built-up long block engines with accessories (fuel pump, carbs, air cleaners, water pump, fans, manifold, ignition wiring, etc), two bell housing and transmissions with drive shafts, two complete built-up frames, two complete build - up front and rear suspension assemblies with differential and steering linkage, two steering gears, two radiators, two gas tanks, 1.5 dual exhaust sets, 12 tires and wheel sets, 6 knock-offs, two lower bodies with opening rear ends, one front grille and hood grill; one complete built up interior, two extra seats with seatbelts and buckles, one assembled bubble top (the critical part - in 'very good' condition - can be restored), one hood assembly, power switch, battery contacts, wires and original instructions. Decals have been applied. Quality of assembly is 'fair' to 'very good'. Although there are enough parts to make one complete car, this is a major project for the experienced modeler only.
