Early Walthers kit from 1943 that includes cast metal trucks with brass wheels. Very high quality wood and metal kit from the Golden Age of HO Craftsman kit. Builds a very accurate and highly detailed prototype of this boxcar. Kit features pre-cut and pre-scribed hardwood sides, pre-cut and milled roof and floor, other cut wood and stock as needed, a sealed envelope full of cast metal details, color decals for 'Menasha Woodenware Co Menasha WI / Pails / Tubs Kegs / Barrels / Fibre Boxes and full size blue-print plans. The model has never been started. Most parts are still sealed in factory bags - those that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals in excellent condition and full size plans/instructions.
