Rare original issue from 1956. This kit can be built as a stock Ford Fairlane or a wild custom with numerous options. The box is in excellent condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners and very light wear. This kit includes the entry form (on the instructions) and notice on the box top side for the Motor Trend Magazine 'Project Ideas' Car Customizing Contest. The kit includes the base Fairlane model with a detailed engine, removable hood, detailed engine compartment, full interior, separately molded suspension, molded in underside detail, 'top down' configuration with top boot and more. It is molded in classic blue metallic plastic (which matches the box illustration) and chrome. The accessories include wild custom decals, hood louvers, turtle fin, spotlights, hood scoop, 2 fender fins, 8 bumper bullets and exhaust ports, fender skirts, 2 side stacks, 2 antennas and more. The kit has never been started. Inventoried on the Revell instructions parts list as complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
